I recently stayed at Pension Getariano in Getaria for a few days. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring that my stay was pleasant. The rooms were always clean, as they were cleaned on a daily basis. The location of the hotel is excellent, allowing for easy walking access to surrounding villages and beautiful areas like the northern Way of St. James and the Flysch route. Additionally, the staff provided great recommendations for walks and places to eat. I truly enjoyed my stay and would happily return.

Great location 5 minutes from the beach, central square, shops, bars, and restaurants. Friendly family-run place with helpful and attentive staff. Pretty traditional Basque house. English-speaking owner provided helpful advice and recommended walks. Wonderful experience during the town's annual festival with Basque singing, dancing, and local food. Perfect base for exploring the region with lots of great restaurants and beaches.

Always choose this place, no regrets. Staff helped find my lost ring. Perfect place with Wi-Fi, car park, TV. Great for hiking, cycling, fishing, beach access. No pets or smoking. Board games provided. Coming back for a romantic escape.

The room was spacious and quiet, with a balcony and all the necessary amenities; the hotel's location allowed for easy access to Zarautz, Zumaia, Bilbao, and San Sebastian.

The room at Pension Getariano was cozy and comfortable, perfect for a light sleeper like me. The beds were soft and the room was heated, ensuring a good night's sleep. The flat-screen TV was a nice touch too!

The only thing I didn't like was that the room had three single beds. But hey, that's just my personal preference.

I had a great experience at this lovely pension in the center of town. the warm welcome from the friendly owner made me feel right at home. the room was spacious, with a huge bed and a small but adequate ensuite shower room. It was perfect for my visit to the beach, restaurants, and the Balenciaga Museum, which were all just steps away. Although breakfast wasn't included, they offered a delicious option for a small price at a nearby café. I was very pleased with my stay at Pension Getariano. Cons: All was perfect! 😊.

The location of the hotel is perfect, right on the edge of the old town and just a short walk to the beach and restaurants. We also appreciated the convenience of having a nearby cafe to enjoy our breakfast in and the option to visit the local bakery across the street for some delicious treats. the room was clean and comfortable, providing a cozy atmosphere for our stay. the friendly staff were also a plus, always ready to help and they spoke good English.

We did find the lack of parking a bit inconvenient.
